Gaja Pellegrini Bettoli

Gajia Pellegrini Bettoli worked for the United Nations in Gaza as a press officer and at the European Parliament and the Commission in Brussels.  He publishes political and jihadist articles from the Middle East for LIMES, including an exclusive interview with the Deputy Secretary of Hezbollah. He has published interviews and reports from the Middle East for Corriere della Sera. A journalist and publicist, she has been involved in reportages on the Mosul front in Iraq and political interviews in Lebanon, Iraq, Algeria, Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT). She has participated as a guest analyst from Beirut for the TGCOM24 with over 40 appearances since 2016. He publishes articles on politics and political economy in English with Think Tanks and international newspapers: Carnegie, Al-Jazeera, Middle East Eye, Al-Monitor, EU Observer, SyriaLebanon, Zenith Magazine, SyriaDeeply, Informant, France24, Opendemocracy and the Atlantic Treaty Association.  Gaja has a Masters in Economic History from the London School of Economics and a degree in Political Science. He is fluent in English, Italian, French, Spanish and, at an elementary level, Arabic.
